It's been a while.
So here's an update of whats been happening.
I've been bogged down with a lot of Uni work, hence the lack of posts. I've still managed to find time to play Vanguard though. At the last shop tournament I managed to come 3rd using my Tachikaze, so yeah... Eat it. First place was Spectral Duke and 2nd was my housemate using MLB. T-kay-kay running with that big dogs!
I also recently picked up another card game called The Spoils. It's pretty cool, kinda like magic the gathering with a twist and a hell of a lot more ridiculous. I'm using a deck where all the cards have at least one sentence written in 1337 5p34k! which is pretty badass.
Also I've been wandering into the world of custom Vanguard cards. I'm designing a whole new clan for Star Gate seeing as they don't seem to get much love. If I recall correctly Angel Feather was a fan made clan. So I plan to build this clan and play test it with a few friends. Document all the testing and changes made and why and eventually maybe publish the testing to the public and so on and so forth. The clan is called "Nerve". They are a force of cyborgs called Exo-Bytes that plan to overthrow the Dimension Police and take control of the Star Gate nation. My friend suggested making them based around the human nervous system, but when I first came up with the idea I was thinking in terms of computers.
Here we see "Central Nerve, Tocks". She's sort of like a reverse Alfred. The Nerve clan is based around sacrificing your own units to give others power, a bit like a mixture between Tachikaze and Dimension Police. I currently have a list of 30 cards for the clan so far and have made full custom version of about 8.
Here's the flat 10k.
Other than the above I've been busy doing work. No idea when my next update will be but at least this may tide people over.
